Hi Barrington!
This is Mrs. Rolle, your 8th grade Biology teacher from Norland Midldle School! To say that I am so proud of you is such an understatement!! I have been tracking your progress and I am just blown away by your courage and passsion to make a difference in this world! Just think, my little Barrington who use to "drop it like it's hot in my science classs (and get in trouble) actually making history! It just speaks to the power of the fact that WE can do all things through Christ and determination. When you get back to MIA please call me at Norland. I am now in charge of the ESE program, so just ask for the ESe office. I ould love to have you come out and speak to the students about the power of a dream and making a difference in this world.  When I first heard the news reporter talking aabout your journey, I was getting ready for work. I was mesmerized because I said to myself, could that be my Barrington?  The reporter went to commercial and I sat down to wait for the story to see if it was you (I was late for work). Imagine my surprise, pride and pleasure when I discovered that it was. It bought tears to my eyes!  My one dream for ALL my students is that be all they can be, pursue thier dreams, make a difference and be successful.  Keep up the Good work and I will be following your journey, praying for you and hoping to hear from you when you return!  Love You Much  Trecia Rolle (Mrs. Rolle)

Barrington,
I am both a flight attendant and a pilot. When you were schedule to go to the Azores I was enroute to Brussels as a flight attendant. I gave the pilots your N-number to see if we could contact you and say hello keep you company for a while.

Our pilots made several attempts to contact you but the Air Traffic Controllers said there were no airplanes with your registration number in that sector of the Atlantic.

Anyway, Have fun and if you need to divert to Dallas from Denver's Front Range, consider Addison(KADS). It is real close to Dallas, is full of friendly pilots and this Hollywood North Perry-trained, Florida pilot can show you some Texas hospitality and arrange a news conference or two at one of aviation's great regions for aircraft manufacture and production.
